Ouest Industries Créatives, Research-Education-Innovation, has launched its initial call for scientific research projects. Open from 1 April 2016, it will support research projects with convincing potential for development and visibility, as part of a first-of-its-kind interdisciplinary collaboration across new fields of expertise.

The programme aims to draw out new scientific knowledge at the, still little-explored, interfaces between the worlds of culture and creativity, and research in the fields of human and social sciences, digital sciences and architecture. Funded projects must foster the emergence of new models for the cultural and creative industries (ICC): culture and creation in a digital world, transformation of sectors and the economy, design, and driving innovation in more traditional fields and industries.
