AAU – CRENAU team

 Team (Centre de Recherche Nantais Architectures Urbanités)

AAU is a CNRS joint research unit associating the Grenoble École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture (ENSAG), Nantes École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture (ENSAN) and the École Centrale de Nantes (ECN). CRENAU (Centre de Recherche Nantais Architectures Urbanités) is the AAU’s team in Nantes. It has 23 permanent researchers, 10 associate researchers and 24 doctoral students.  Its research covers various themes concerning architectural and urban environments, models, instruments and policies for regional and local public action, virtual and augmented reality, maps and sensitive representations of the built environment, and the adaptation of cities to climate change.
